Presentation Instructions
One of the best ways to learn is by teaching others. During the term you will educate the class with a 10-
15-minute presentation on either a psychological disorder or a mode of therapy discussed in class.
• These presentations will take place on 11/6 or 11/7. All presenters must be prepared
for the lecture on 11/6 or 11/7.
o Anyone turning in late power point notes will lose 5 points for per class
period they are late.
• You may work on your own or in pairs of 2-3 people. If working with a partner,
grades will be given as a group whole and not on individual performance. Make sure to
choose reliable group members.
• If a group member reports that a partner is not contributing to the assignment, his
or her grade will be half of the group score.
• Each group member must speak during the presentation.
• Use a minimum of 3 reliable referential sources for research. (No Wikipedia!).
• A reference slide must be provided at the end of the presentation.
• Video clips may be used to enhance presentations (Not do the presentation for you).
Keep any video clips under 3 min.
• Presentation power point file with the works cited must be submitted to the instructor via
MyHills on the date of the presentation.
• You, or your group, must sign up for a presentation topic with the instructor.
• Presentations are worth 150 Points.
Criteria for the psychological disorder/therapy presentation includes:
